Amy is 29 years old. She comes from Cromford in Derbyshire. Amy has a huge heart for young people and has been involved in Children’s and Youth ministry for nearly 12 years. Becoming a Christian at the age of 17 Amy became very aware of the real need for youth ministers, not only to evangelise but also disciple and equip a young generation that would live, follow and serve God. Having been brought up in a Christian family, Amy strayed away in her teenage years this affirming in her even more the importance of youth ministry. Amy started full time ministry working for a youth and schools organisation called the Pais Project, where she gained an NVQ in youth and schools ministry, from there she went on to lead a team of gap year students. She has worked in a number of Churches ministering to all ages in a variety of different settings and denominations. Amy considers it not only a calling but also a great privilege to help churches develop their vision/mission and help them understand the value and importance of ministering to children and young people. Amy’s enthusiastic pioneering spirit attracts people to Jesus and leads others into their ministries. She has a strong call of leadership on her life and develops this gift by taking every opportunity to learn from other leaders. She has taken part in the Arrow programme run by CPAS and has a mentor and many other people speaking into her life on a regular basis.  On a personal note Amy loves to spend time with friends and family, and enjoys investing in her many Godchildren. She can’t get enough of scary rides and has an unbeaten record of beating her youth at laser quest. She also enjoys playing hockey and coming from a musical family plays the flute.

Pete became a Christian when he was 4 at Spring Harvest. He was bought up in a Christian family and is the youngest of 3 brothers. At a very young age he was spreading the good news about Jesus, however when he was 16 he had a number of life changing moments. Moving house for the first time, leaving school, leaving behind all of his friends and changing churches. He tried to live his own way for a bit rather than Gods way. He felt empty and had no direction for his life at all. He soon came to his senses and ran back to God who accepted him with open arms. From that moment on Pete dedicated his life to the service of God and to spreading the Good news of Jesus life giving message. Pete  has been in full time Children’s and Youth ministry for almost 12 years and in that time has been connected with Ywam, Oasis, YFC, Scripture Union and 3 churches St Paul’s Camberley, Bath Abbey and Holy Trinity Combe Down. In that time Pete has led lots of children’s and youth clubs/meetings and events and has led many people to a place where they have responded to Jesus. He is passionate about Evangelism has a diploma in Children’s Evangelism and Nurture and also has a strong call of leadership on his life. His personal mission statement up until recently was winning Kids for Christ! This has now grown with the ministry that God has called him into; with his new mission statement being Enlarging and Equipping God's Kingdom! Pete really hopes and prays that this will be extended in the future. On a personal level Pete enjoys all sorts of activities, especially outdoor ones, he plays football, rugby, squash, rides his bike and goes walking with his dog on a regular basis. He is also a West Bromwich Albion fan and goes to the games with his Dad and brothers.
