We aim to Engage Children through teaching Bible stories and Christian values, but also providing many opportunities for them to experience and respond to Jesus. We believe that children have their own faith, their own understanding and their own ministry in the Church. We believe that children want to respond to Jesus and need to have the opportunity to do so.
The sort of children’s programmes we run are based on a similar style to Saturday morning TV: high action, multi sensory, age appropriate, fun, challenging and above all surrounded by biblical teaching and opportunities to respond to God: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
We run all kinds of training for people working with children, whether outreaching into the community, schools work or discipleship groups. We come to Churches for short periods of time to run special events, and actively encourage lasting relationships, ongoing support and further resources.
One of our main activities in Engaging Children is holiday clubs: this is where Pulse trains a group of volunteers from a Church, then comes and runs a week-long club in the Church. The week will have an overall theme like Chocolate Box, Olympics, In The Jungle, etc and will also have a biblical theme, like David, Daniel, The Disciple’s Journeys, Easter, etc. Every holiday club we do has an evangelistic element which will be age appropriate and will also be followed up by the local Church with help from Pulse.

All Age Worship/Praise Parties - Pulse is available for a wide variety of events, some for just children and some for their families, for example: - Alternative Halloween, Easter, Christmas, Harvest, Special Anniversaries, Community Fun Days, Basically any creative way to Engage Children in the Gospel!
